Face Of The Foothills

As I exited my vehicle to capture the beautiful mountain view at sunrise on this chinook morning, this large mule deer buck popped up from his bed in the camouflage foliage. I was about 80km away from the mountains, standing on the foothills, a true testament to Alberta's diverse landscapes. January, 2016.
