We are currently making our last-minute preparations for the 2012 field season! This year we have two field bases, one in Brooks and the other at Meanook Biological Research Station (MBRS) near Athabasca. Our new staff starts on April 30th at MBRS and May 1st in Brooks. This year we have a total of 46 technicians completing data collection everywhere from Taber to Fort Smith. It’s looking like an exciting summer with a lot of interesting sites. In addition to our regular on-grid sites we are also completing both Terrestrial and Aquatic Off-Grid sites which gives us a chance to see some less common habitats. All of us are hoping for a great summer season!
